First let me say this a very full featured app which for the most part, works excellent. I have been using it for a long time. However, be aware, it will "not work with a Bluetooth Remote Shutter device" which I depend on a lot. The remote will start the video but within ½ to 2 minutes the camera will just stop recording. I have tried 3 different phones and 4 different shutter devices and it happens every time with all of them. It has never happened once with any of the stock camera apps.

Edit: not one to beg for features but not above it: would love on-the-fly saturation filter or RGB sat level adjust. Pretty please! Orig: had this thing installed for so long I didn't even realize there were settings on it, thought it was set it and forget it. The settings button has a flash icon on it so I just never bothered to click it. Finally my phone camera looks good. Now I can actually use my camera, and thank you for making it open source.

I like being able to choose my light metering point in video and choose WB even for wide angle lens on the Galaxy S22. What this really needs is the ability to either run in the background or restart video when it gets interrupted by anything with the phone. I lost an hour and a half of footage tonight because my phone gave me a notification that my hotspot got turned off. I'd also love to see ability to change WB to a preset on the fly (like cloudy to flourescent, etc).

What's new

Improvements for pinch zooming. Fixes for split-screen and multi-window mode. Support for zoom and on-screen ISO/exposure display when using camera vendor extensions (for supported Android 13+ devices).

"Touch to capture" option now supports starting and stopping video. No longer cancel panorama when rotating device too far in wrong direction.

Applied a 2s timeout for focusing with original camera API.

Various other improvements and bug fixes.
